If you’re looking to host a wedding, corporate or non-profit event in the Piedmont Triad region, Legacy Stables and Events is the perfect location. Our full-service event center not only has beautiful facilities flexible enough to accommodate everything from small, intimate gatherings to large events of up to 1,000 guests, but we also provide all the services necessary to pull off turn-key corporate events or beautiful weddings.

Customer service is a top priority of Legacy Stables and Events. Our responsive staff is always ready to answer any questions and address concerns. We also offer a list of vetted vendors to help with every aspect of your event, from trusted, locally owned and operated businesses.

Our state-of-the-art technology, variety of meeting space options and consultative approach allows Legacy Stables and Events to provide the ultimate turn-key approach to make your wedding or event go off without a hitch.

How can I get an estimate?

Detailed estimates are given at the end of every tour and are tailored to fit your vision as discussed throughout your visit. You may also request an estimate via email or phone call before scheduling a tour.

Can Legacy Stables host more than one event in a day?

We are proud to have the space, resources, and staff to host up to two events in a day here at Legacy Stables! The Grace Barn and the Forsyth Barn have separate bridal suites, grooms cabins, and even separate parking lots! Parking attendants make sure that every guest gets to their event easily. Our team is ready to give each of our events the time and attention they deserve!

Should we hire a day-of wedding coordinator?

Legacy Stables and Events requires all couples to hire a day-of wedding coordinator with proof of insurance. We also proudly offer professional in-house wedding coordination if you would like to make your event even easier! Our day-of coordination comes at a discounted rate to Legacy Brides.

What catering/bartending options are available?

Legacy Stables offers fantastic inclusive packages with our exclusive in-house catering and bartending, along with place settings and linens. You will also receive a discount on the venue when you book our inclusive caterer! You may hire outside caterers with proper license, insurance, and staffing on select dates and with approval from Legacy. Ask us about inclusive dates vs. a la carte package dates!

When are tours available?

We offer tours Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, and on evenings and weekends by appointment only. Evening and weekend tours fill up quickly, so don’t hesitate to reach out via phone or email to get your tour scheduled!

Are there any décor restrictions?

Legacy does not allow real flames, confetti, cold sparks, dry ice, or fog machines.

Where are the closest overnight accommodations?

Convenient overnight accommodations can be found in Winston-Salem, with numerous hotels and air bnbs less than 10 minutes away. We are happy to send a list of recommended overnight accommodations!

Are security services available for my event?

All events over 50 guests come with security and parking attendant services.

Is AV Equipment available to rent?

Yes, from stages to screens and specialty lighting, we offer a turn-key audio/visual experience with technicians available.

Do I have to use Legacy Stables preferred vendors?

While there are some dates in which we require you to use our inclusive caterer, all other vendors on our preferred vendors list are simply a recommendation. Vendors gain a spot on our preferred list by working with us for an extended time, consistently providing excellent customer service. There are no paid opportunities to gain a spot on our vendor list. We are also always happy to meet new vendors! We do require that bands, outside caterers, and wedding coordinators show a certificate of insurance prior to approval.

When can I access Legacy Stables on my wedding day?

Wedding packages have a strict 10:00am-12:00am time frame, with all receptions ending by 11:00pm. A property buy-out is the only exception to this rule.

Can we provide our own alcohol?

Legacy Stables does offer corkage bars for beer and wine only! All liquor must be provided by Legacy’s bartending vendor.

When are wedding rehearsals scheduled?

Wedding rehearsals are scheduled 45 days prior to the wedding day, and are scheduled based on availability. We allow 2hrs for rehearsal.

Does Legacy allow pets on the property?

Legacy Stables is a pet friendly property! Dogs are welcome to participate in ceremonies and photos, but must return home by the time the reception begins. Pets are not allowed inside the bridal suite/grooms cabins.

What time does my party have to end?

All events at Legacy Stables must conclude by 11:00pm due to city noise restrictions. We do not play music past this time for any reason.

Does Legacy Stables offer overnight accommodations?

Legacy does not offer overnight accommodations, but our staff is happy to provide you with a list of nearby accommodations from one to ten minutes from our property! Toggle Content

Does Uber/Lyft come to Legacy Stables?

Yes! We are conveniently located just 10 minutes from Downtown Winston-Salem. We can also help you to arrange shuttle services by bus, van, or trolley!

How much is a deposit to book my date?

While we prefer a 20 or 25% deposit, we do offer flexible payment schedules when needed! Let us know if a different payment schedule works for you and we will consider making adjustments!
