Our expert team has compiled a list of things to keep in mind to make the most of a tour of our venue, or any that you plan to explore before making a deposit for the big day.
Make Legacy Stables and Events your first stop. We understand that many brides-to-be and event planners are looking at a variety of venues. However, it makes sense to schedule a tour of our location first. At Legacy Stables and Events we have three event venues of different locations, and getting to see each one first-hand helps give you an idea of the size of a space and the possibilities each one holds.
Plan your visit in advance. We suggest calling to set up an appointment to schedule a time for a tour, and allow up to an hour and a half for the full experience. Our hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday, but we can be available evenings and weekends if needed. We try to accommodate walk-ins if we’re available, but appointments are preferred, to give you the best experience and our full attention on the tour.
What to expect on our tour. Legacy Stables and Events includes three possible venues sitting on a beautifully landscaped, 30-acre property. During the tour we’ll take you to each of our event locations, starting with Grace Barn where we’ll tour the Salem Stallway and Cate’s Ballroom. From there we walk you through the Legacy House with its Bridal Suite and Robert’s Quarters. Then we take a golf cart to the Forsyth Barn which includes the Grand Ballroom, Carolina Room, bridal suite and groom’s cabin. We’ll also tour the property, including a visit to our newly constructed waterfall. With exquisite landscaping, it makes the perfect backdrop for pictures.
Come prepared with information and questions. Once the tour is complete, we’ll sit down to discuss pricing and create a customized estimate for your event. Make sure to have information including the date you would like to reserve, the number of guests, and type of food and bar accommodations you prefer. We pride ourselves on customer service, and take time with each guest to go over the estimate in detail and answer any questions. We know that plans can change, and we’re always willing to create a new estimate. Is your wedding guest list bigger than you originally expected? Have you decided you’d prefer a bar option for your nonprofit fundraiser? Feel free to ask us for a new estimate as many times as you need.
